Abstract

This chapter focuses on the impact of 9/11 on Japan, India, and China, and their relations with the United States. Long-term trends linked to 9/11, the War on Terror, and U.S. policy are considered along with long-lasting issues for Japan and India. Direct international relations between India, China and Japan, however, are beyond the scope of this chapter.
