Abstract
Dicky Pelupessy holds a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Indonesia and a masters degree in state management and humanitarian affairs from the University of Rome “La Sapienza,” Italy. He has a passion for humanitarian work and has been working in crisis and disaster-affected areas in Indonesia since 2001. He was the coordinator of the Aceh area of the Pulih Foundation, a national NGO working for trauma recovery and psychosocial intervention. He is a lecturer in the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Indonesia and now the director of the Crisis Center of the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia. He is also the chairman of the executive committee of the Indonesian Network of Psychosocial and Mental Health for Disaster Management.
