The Air Force Office of Scientific Research’s (AFOSR) mission is to sponsor and sustain basic research, transfer and transition research results and support Air Force goals of control and maximum utilisation of air and space.
United States Air Force Academy/National Research Council Summer Faculty Research Program (SFFP)
Subjects: Science, engineering or mathematics
Purpose: To provide research opportunities for qualified faculty members of United States colleges and universities at Air Force research facilities within the continental United States
Eligibility: Applicants must be United States citizens or permanent residents, faculty members of accredited United States of America colleges, universities or technical institutions, and have at least two years of teaching or research experience
Level of Study: Professional development
Value: Assistant professors receive US$1,250, associate professors receive US$1,450, and full professors receive US$1,650 per week
Length of Study: 8–12 weeks
Frequency: Annual
Study Establishment: An Air Force facility
Country of Study: United States of America
