Abstract
The importance of the role of the Greenwich Bombing as a turning point in British anarchist history is considered in the context of Joseph Conrad’s subsequent fascination for it, outlining the importance of the atrocity and its place as the focal point and galvanizing moment for a range of anxieties about the emerging role of terror tactics in the modern urban scene.
