Abstract
This chapter suggests ways in which the analyses presented in this book can be taken up in reviewer training and development courses. The chapter proposes an experiential, ‘learning by doing’ approach to reviewer training, rather than a didactic, information-transmission-style one, that is, activities which are both reflective and experiential yet at the same time explicit, drawing on the findings that have been presented in this book. An example of a workshop is presented which focuses on the training of beginning reviewers. Sample activities which focus on matters related to peer review are provided.
