Abstract
As producer of Wicked, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Next to Normal, and If/Then, David Stone is a hands-on creative producer who collaborates with a range of contemporary musical theatre writers and also partners with regional and not-for-profit theatres to develop new musicals away from Broadway. Stone’s business savvy and belief in the works he shepherds helps his endeavours (which include plays such as The Vagina Monologues) succeed.
