Abstract

Some of the most interesting pharmacologically active natural substances from plants (and some animals) are reviewed. Their structures and/or their activities were published during the years 1973-1979. The substances are discussed according to the main classes of natural compounds in the following order: Alkaloids and other Nitrogen-containg compounds; Terpenoids; Oxygen-Heterocycles; Glycosides; Compounds with other structures.
