Abstract

In vitro antibacterial, antifungal and anthelmintic studies were carried out with different extracts of the flowers and buds of Ochrocarpus longifolius, B. H. All extracts, except the aqueous extract, exhibited antibacterial activity against both Gram Positive and Gram Negative organisms. Hexane extract was most potent in this respect. None of the extracts tested showed antifungal and anthelmintic activity.
