Retraction Notice

The above article, published in Planta Medica Volume 81 (16) - PW_135, in November 2015 (DOI: 10.1055/s-0035-1565759), has been retracted due to a scientific error concerning the identification of the species discussed in the study.

The plant under investigation is not Canscora decussata but rather Canscora diffusa (Vahl) R.Br. ex Roem. & Schult.

This unintentional misidentification compromises the accuracy of the scientific findings, necessitating its retraction.
