Abstract

Of the five plants; Annona squamosa L., Eclipta prostrata L., Ipomoea fistulosa Mart, exchoisy, Semecarpus anacardium L. and Trianthema, portulacastrum L. investigated for antiimplantational activity, extracts of A. quamosa possessed significant activity. Further investigation for isolation of pure active principle of A. quamosa is in progress.
