Development of anthrazoline photocatalysts for promoting amination and amidation reactions

Abstract

In this work, we synthesized and determined the optical and electrochemical properties of a series of organophotocatalysts each bearing an anthrazoline framework, as well as demonstrated their catalytic competencies in promoting C–N bond formation by leveraging photoredox catalysis. The chosen anthrazoline photocatalyst allowed for access to diverse amines and amides in good to excellent yields (up to 96%).
