Synthesis and structure of a MnIII(OH) complex generated from dioxygen

Abstract

Dioxygen activation at room temperature by a new MnII complex having a cavity motif yields a monomeric MnIII complex with a terminally bonded hydroxo ligand whose oxygen atom is derived from O2.
