Poly(p-phenylene)-catalysed photoreduction of water to hydrogen

Abstract

Irradiation (γ>290 nm) of an aqueous suspension of poly(p-phenylene) leads to photocatalytic H2 evolution in the presence of triethylamine or diethylamine.
