Amide complexes of thorium(IV), uranium(IV), and dioxouranium(VI) nitrates

Abstract

Complexes of thorium tetranitrate. Th(NO3)4·xL (x= 3, L = MeCONHMe; x= 2.5, L = MeCONEt2, EtCONMe2, or Me3C·CONMe2; x= 2, L = MeCONPh2), uranium tetranitrate. U(NO3)4·2.5L (L = MeCONEt2 or EtCONMe2), and dioxouranium(VI) nitrate, UO2(NO3)2·2L (all above R′CONR″2), have been prepared. Their i.r., Raman, and electronic spectra are discussed.
