Porous materials derived from trigonal-prismatic [Si6O9] and cubane [Si8O12] cage monomers

Abstract

New porous polymers are synthesized from [Si6O9] and [Si8O12] cage precursors and characterised by 29Si and 13C solid-state NMR spectroscopy; the specific surface areas of the polymers vary from 12.2 to 573 m2 gā€“1.
