Revised structure of a phospholipid obtained from Halobacterium halobium

Abstract

SIMS spectra of polar lipids in Halobacterium halobium reveal that the major component of the lipids is a methyl ester of phosphatidyl glycerophosphate instead of the corresponding free acid previously reported.
