A simple approach making acetylene black electrocatalytically active for flexible rechargeable zinc–air batteries

Abstract

The lower-temperature thermal treatment of PTFE/ACET composites created a novel F-doped ACET catalyst with excellent ORR activity for the flexible solid-state ZAB. It delivered a high discharge-voltage of 1.10 V and a small voltage gap of 0.8 V at a current density of 2 mA cm−2 for over 1080 cycles (180 hours).
