The infrared spectra of trimetal carbonyl species in frozen gas matrices at 20°K

Abstract

I.r. spectra of Os3(CO)12, Ru3(CO)10(NO)2, and Fe3(CO)12 in solution and in low-temperature matrices show that the structures of Fe3(CO)12 in solution and matrix are different and the spectrum of molecular Fe3(CO)12(C2v structure) is reported for the first time.
