Abstract
CLEAR evidence has been presented to show that the 3′ end of the RNA of turnip-yellow mosaic virus (TYMV) possesses a tRNA-like structure that can be specifically esterified with valine by Escherichia coli valyl-tRNA synthetase and can be recognized as a substrate by the E. coli tRNA nucleotidyl transferase1–3.
