Particle Injection in the Cygnus X-3 Radio Outburst

Abstract

Particle injection played an important role in the recent Cygnus X-3 radio outburst. Calculations on the basis of an improved expanding cloud model show that a maximum mass of 0.76 × 10−8 M⊙ was injected over a period of 1.2 days.
