Mössbauer Absorption in Zinnwaldite Mica

Abstract

DURING the past few years there have been several investigations of the sheet silicates by Mössbauer effect spectroscopy1–5. Previous measurements have included micas from the muscovite1 and biotite2–5 series. We now report new results on zinnwaldite, an elastic mica from the lepidolite series.
