Abstract
JOLLÈS1,2 has previously demonstrated that lysozymes isolated from different organs of the same animal (dog spleen and kidney; hen egg-white and lung) have qualitatively the same biological activity but differ by their amino-acid compositions and their chromatographic behaviour.
