Abstract
PROF. A. G. PERKIN died at his Leeds residence on May 30. Born at Sudbury, Middlesex, in December 1861, he was the second son of the late Sir William Perkin, brother of the late W. H. Perkin, jun., Waynflete professor of chemistry in the University of Oxford, and half-brother of the late Dr. P. M. Perkin, who was well known as a consulting chemist.
