General Model for the Replication of Double Stranded DNA Molecules

Abstract

It is postulated that replication of double stranded DNA involves the sequential addition of microbubbles, containing RNA-primed short nascent DNA pieces, to a macrobubble, followed by covalent attachment of the fragments into longer nascent strands.
