Abstract
The posttranscriptional control model for inducible enzymes is supported by evidence that the action of the RNA synthesis inhibitor, actinomycin D, in inhibiting the deinduction of inducible tyrosine aminotransferase is not due to its inhibition of enzyme degradation.
