India, Ceylon and Pakistan: New Age Data and Comparisons with Australia

Abstract

Analysis of Pre-Cambrian rocks by the Rb–Sr method confirms parallels between the ages of sequences in Australia and those in Peninsular India, Ceylon and Pakistan. The findings are relevant to the question of continental reassembly.
