Mongolism, Delayed Fertilization and Human Sexual Behaviour

Abstract

Decreasing frequency of coitus accompanying advancing age and prolongation of marriage, predisposing to delayed fertilization, may explain the correlation of increased incidence of mongol births with advancing maternal age.
