Abstract
THE recent interesting findings of Matthews and Moser1 and the earlier work of Lowe et al.2 involving the abiogenesis of amino-acids and their precursors from simple molecules (HCN, H2O, NH3) raise two important issues which stem from my observations3 of the amino-acid content of atmospheric precipitation.
