Abstract
A SOLUTION of sodium penicillin, containing 1,200 units per c.c., was tested for bacteriostatic activity against B. subtilis and found to be active in a dilution of 1: 100 in a synthetic medium containing 0.1 per cent acid hydrolysed casein1.
