KIT: Kontrolliertes Interaktions-Tagebuch zur Erfassung sozialer Interaktionen, Beziehungen und Persönlichkeitseigenschaften

Abstract

Zusammenfassung. Das Tagebuchverfahren KIT wird vorgestellt. Erfaßt werden alle psychologisch bedeutsamen sozialen Interaktionen eines Beobachtungszeitraums. Durch Aggregation über Interaktionen desselben Interaktionspartners werden soziale Beziehungen, und durch Aggregation über Beziehungen derselben Person werden Persönlichkeitseigenschaften diagnostiziert. Um die Nachteile retrospektiver Erinnerungen zu minimieren, wird die Durchführung strenger als üblich kontrolliert. Dennoch erwies sich KIT als praktikabel. In einer Längsschnittstudie führten 144 Studierende das Tagebuch jeweils 3 Wochen lang im ersten und 113 auch im zweiten Semester. Die Qualität einzelner enger Beziehungen und wichtiger Beziehungstypen (z.B. heterosexuelle Peer-Beziehungen) wurde mit hoher Reliabilität erfaßt. Vergleiche mit Beziehungs- und Persönlichkeitsfragebögen ergaben eine befriedigende Validität. Das Instrument, Beispieldaten und Auswertungsprogramme sind über das Internet allgemein zugänglich.


CID: Controlled Interaction Diary for the assessment of social interactions, relationships, and personality traits

Abstract. The diary procedure CID is described. All psychologically significant social interactions within a specified observation period are assessed. Social relationships are assessed through aggregation over all interactions of a particular dyad, and personality traits through aggregation over all relationships of an individual. To minimize retrospective bias, application of the procedure is more strictly controlled than usual. The procedure proved, however, to be practicable. A total of 144 university students maintained the diary for 3 weeks in their first term, and 113 also in their second term. The quality of specific close relationships and of important relationship types (e.g., heterosexual peer relationships) was assessed with high reliability. Comparisons with relationship and personality questionnaires showed satisfactory validity. The instrument, exemplary data, and programs for statistical analysis are available through the internet.
