Magnetic Field Effect in Ion Exchange

Abstract

Kinetic features of sorption of double-charged cations on an ion-exchange resin and zeolite are controlled to a significant extent by the hydration effects. A nonuniform magnetic field has a considerable effect on these characteristics, but this is not the case in heavy water (D2O).
