Abstract

This short paper clarifies the thoughts of the future Mobile InformationSociety (MIS), ubiquitous access to the information services in wirelessenvironment. The key elements of MIS are explained as well as some of thechallenges MIS sets for the current research and skill development programsin academic and industrial environment.
