Controlled Polymerization of Methyl Methacrylate in the Presence of C-Phenyl-N-tert-Butylnitrone and Commercial Radical Initiators

Abstract

Radical polymerization of methyl methacrylate initiated by dicyclohexyl peroxydicarbonate in the presence of a chain-terminating agent, C-phenyl-N-tert-butylnitrone, as a potential source of stable nitroxyl radicals, was studied.
