Parallel solution synthesis of pyridinethiones, pyridinones and thienopyridines

Abstract

The parallel solution synthesis of three classes ofheterocycles is described. Arrays of pyridinethiones,pyridinones and thienopyridines were prepared usingone-step chemistry starting from readily accessiblebuilding blocks. The latter class of compounds wasaccessed by utilising a library-from-library approach.
