ERCP Training
2018, ERCP, Third EditionAnimal Models for Endoscopic Simulation
2006, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Clinics of North AmericaCitation Excerpt :Because of anatomic similarities between nonhuman primates and humans, the baboon model has been used for various endoscopic procedures but is limited by cost constraints and restricted availability. ERCP in baboons closely resembles human cholangiopancreatography [22]. Chacma baboons (Papio species) also were used for experimental endoscopic antireflux procedures by Martinez-Serna [23].
