    The arrival of large numbers of forced migrants mainly in the years 2015 and 2016 have put existing asylum-seeker health policies to the test and, in some cases, highlighted systemic flaws [5,6]. The so-called “refugee crisis” has thus offered an opportunity to learn from successes and failures, and to revise asylum-seeker health policies accordingly [7]. Germany is a pertinent case-study for the analysis of asylum-seeker health policies.
