The predictive value of positive affect and Type D personality for adverse cardiovascular clinical outcomes in patients with non-obstructive coronary artery disease
2018, Journal of Psychosomatic ResearchCitation Excerpt :There are arguments in favor of both approaches, as is the case in Type D personality research [23] In future studies, it will also be of interest to further distinguish between multiplicative statistical versus biological interaction [45]. The findings of the current study concerning Type D personality are in part consistent with previous studies on Type D personality and medical outcomes of cardiac disease [16,46]. In the present study Type D personality, both continuously and dichotomously analyzed, did not predict outcomes.
Psychometric properties of the Catalan version of DS14 scale for assessing Type-D personality
2018, Anuario de PsicologiaCitation Excerpt :This version was developed and validated in the Dutch and Belgian general population and cardiac and primary health care patients, and showed improvements over its predecessor, such as its brevity and its greater facility to offer scores. Research on DS14 has shown that it is a suitable instrument for use in clinical and epidemiological research (Denollet, Pedersen, Vrints, & Conraads, 2006). DS14 is a rapid and effective screening instrument to optimize risk stratification in patients with cardiovascular disease (Albus, Jordan, & Herrmann-Lingen, 2004).
