Évaluation du risque lié à l’exposition professionnelle aux médicaments anticancéreux en établissement de soins
L’évaluation du risque repose dans un premier temps sur la connaissance et la caractérisation du danger au poste de travail, et dans un deuxième temps sur l’évaluation des niveaux d’exposition. Dans ce cadre, les études de postes sont indispensables.
Recommandations de prévention
La prise de conscience de la nécessité de maîtriser le risque constitué par les anticancéreux a entraîné la mise en place progressive de mesures de prévention. Des guidelines de recommandations ont ainsi émergé afin d’instituer, à l’échelle de différents états (États-Unis, Canada, Australie…), des directives précises de gestion du risque [1], [2], [34], [71], [72], [73], [74], [75], [76], [77], [78]. En France, la prise en charge du risque CMR est bornée par le Code du travail dans les articles
Conclusion
Les données actuelles sont en faveur d’une augmentation du risque de survenue de certains cancers et d’effets sur la reproduction chez les personnels exposés aux MCTX. Bien qu’échappant à la réglementation européenne CLP sur les produits chimiques, ils sont à considérer par les préventeurs comme des produits CMR.
Les outils à notre disposition actuellement (études de postes, SBEP et prélèvements de surface) permettent d’objectiver des contaminations de l’environnement de travail et du personnel
