Prediction of fracture limits of Ni–Cr based alloy under warm forming condition using ductile damage models and numerical method
2021, Transactions of Nonferrous Metals Society of China (English Edition)Effects of normal and through-thickness shear stresses on the forming limit curves of AA3104-H19 using advanced yield criteria
2018, International Journal of Mechanical SciencesCitation Excerpt :Moreover, FLC, effective strain forming limit curve (eFLC), stress-based forming limit curve (FLSC) and extended stress-based forming limit curve (XSFLC) prediction by considering the effect of through-thickness normal stress was numerically calculated by considering a modified M–K model combined. The influence of through-thickness normal stress on FLDs of the 5A06-O aluminum alloy with ductile fracture criterion was studied experimentally and compared to the Abaqus/Explicit simulation results by Yang et al. [34]. Mirfalah Nasiri et al. [35] investigated the effect of different yield functions including Karafillis–Boyce (K–B), Yld96 and Yld2011 on the FLD, directional normalized uniaxial yield stresses, directional r-value and for AA3104-H19 aluminum alloy under the plane stress condition.
Research on AA6061 tubular components prepared by combined technology of heat treatment and internal high pressure forming
2017, Journal of Materials Processing TechnologyCitation Excerpt :Hashemi et al. (2014) computed the FLD by analyzing free bulging tests of AA6063 tube at different temperatures and proved the accuracy of theoretical FLD deduced by Ayada yield criterion. Yang et al. (2015b) combined the M-K model with ductile fracture criterion and computed the FLD of 5A06-O aluminum alloy sheet at different temperatures. The studies indicate that the theoretical FLD deduced by M-K theory can be a reference for formability analysis and fracture prediction of high strength aluminum alloy tubes.
Forming limit curves analysis of aluminum alloy considering the through-thickness normal stress, anisotropic yield functions and strain rate
2016, International Journal of Mechanical SciencesCitation Excerpt :The results showed that the Yld2003 provides better prediction than the Hill’s 48 and Barlat's 89. Yang et al. [19] computed the FLDs of 5A06-O sheet in different temperatures by considering a modified M–K model combined with ductile fracture criterion. Employing a new computing method based on wide sheet bending test, the effect of different temperatures was investigated to determine the material constant of ductile fracture criterion and initial thickness imperfection parameter.
