2023, International Journal of Biological MacromoleculesBiosensing breast cancer cells based on a three-dimensional TIO<inf>2</inf> nanomembrane transducer
2017, Biosensors and BioelectronicsCitation Excerpt :The TiO2-MN-ConA system (Fig. 4d) revealed an important impedimetric response for the MCF7 line. This behavior is associated with ConA sugar recognition and previous studies have shown biological activities to interact with different glycoproteins present in human plasma (Lima et al., 1997), and a selective response to normal and transformed human mammary cells (Beltrao et al., 1998). Results for the interaction between the NHSF cell line and lectins (WGA or ConA) showed lower RCT and n values, which corresponds to a smaller blocking effect of the biosensor surface associated with a smaller capacitive dispersion.
