    Arsinine and chromium hexacarbonyl on thermolysis give 100, and on further treatment with [(η2-COE)Cr(CO)5] – the η6 : η1(As) 101. Similar species have the structure 102 (M = Cr, Mo; M′=Cr, Mo, W) (78JOM(148)C31). Arsanaphthalene reacts with [(py)3Mo(CO)3] in the presence of Et2O·BF3 to yield the η6-coordinated products 103 (R = H, SiMe3) (01OM2109).
