The Community Integration Questionnaire (CIQ) consists of 15 items where higher scores indicate a higher level of societal participation [12]. The following factors were retrieved from medical files and/or at initial assessment: age at cardiac arrest, gender, if the patient had a partner and a cardiac and neurological history.
