Ruptura de la polea A2 luego de una cirugía para la liberación de dedo en gatillo: reporte de dos casos y revisión de la literatura

Resumen

El sistema de poleas juega un papel fundamental en la función del aparato flexor de los dedos en la mano; las poleas A2 y A4 son las más importantes para mantener la biomecánica normal. La lesión de la polea A2 específicamente lleva a cambios serios que producen alteraciones clínicas y funcionales para el dedo afectado y la mano en conjunto. Se presentan dos casos de lesión de la polea A2 con signo clínico de cuerda de arco en pacientes previamente sometidas a liberación de dedo en gatillo, y se hace una revisión de la literatura sobre el tema.
