    It is therefore not particularly surprising that residents did not consider the ASTRO Physics Core Curriculum a valuable study resource. We hypothesize, however, that this curriculum likely helped to inform the development of effective structured didactic physics courses at programs across the country that more effectively prepare residents for the MP examination.22,23 This is supported by our reported finding that residents overall consider their program’s internal didactic physics course to be of greater value in preparation for the MP examination than their radiobiology course, which notably lacks a similar consensus curriculum developed by a workgroup of stakeholder representatives independent of the ABR.19
