Evaluation of the IDS One-Step™ ELISA kits for the detection of illicit drugs in hair
2007, Forensic Science InternationalCitation Excerpt :However, these specimens cannot be considered as authentic false positives, since an analyte was identified. The One-Step™ ELISA kits proposed by IDS allows detecting the low pg/mg to ng/mg range of illicit drugs generally observed in human hair [13]. These immunological tests can be considered as a highly sensitive screening procedure to detect illicit drugs in biological fluids but also in hair.
