CdO shows electron resonance signals which we ascribe to conduction electrons and to localised Cd+ ions. The signal of latter ones shows a clear hyperfine- and superhyperfine structure due to the interaction with the central Cd nucleus and with the nuclei of the 12 nearest Cd neighbours.
