Abstract

The anomalies of Ward identities are shown to satisfy consistency or integrability relations, which restrict their possible form. For the case of SU(3) × SU(3) we verify that the anomalies given by Bardeen satisfy the consistency relations. A solution of the anomalous Ward identities is also given which describes concisely all anomalous contributions to low energy theorems. The contributions to strong five pseudoscalar interactions, to Kl4, to one- and two-photon interactions with three pseudoscalars are explicity exhibited.
