Flavonoid-enriched extract of Agave lechuguilla bagasse as a feed supplement to prevent vibriosis in Pacific white shrimp Penaeus vannamei
2023, AquacultureCitation Excerpt :The phenolic concentrations were obtained in milligrams gallic acid equivalent (GAE) per gram of dry weight (g DW), considering the moisture content at around 8%. TFC was measured with the aluminum chloride method (Lauranson-Broyer and Lebreton, 1993) adapted to a microplate, using quercetin, the most adequate standard based on raw material characteristics; prepared from 0 to 1400 μg/L (y = 0.0009 x + 0.0451, R2 = 0.9928). The flavonoid concentrations were expressed in milligrams quercetin equivalent (QE) per gram of dry weight (g DW).
