A model exhibiting type II superconductivity

Abstract

A charged ideal Bose gas is found to be a type II superconductor. In its “mixed” state an external magnetic field penetrates uniformly. The range of order is reduced to a finite, large value, but the superfluid properties are not entirely destroyed.
