Abstract

The cross sections for photoexcitation of Cd111m and In115m with gamma rays from the F19(p, αγ)O16 reaction have been measured. For a gamma ray beam in which the gamma ray intensity ratio (I6.91+I7.11)/I6.14 = 6.7, the Cd111(γ, γ′)Cd111m and In115(γ, γ′)In115m cross sections are 0.4 and 1.6 mb, respectively.
